A Norwegian RuneScape player, serial Hardcore restarter and the creator of TrueHCIM.
I've been playing RuneScape since 2009 and originally maxed my first account in 2013. Over the years, I've played many different accounts and Ironmen, adding up to roughly 20,000 hours across the game.
During the last few years, I've repeatedly tried my luck as a Hardcore Ironman. I've never made it quite as far as I hoped—and I've restarted around five times so far.
“What would my rank actually be if the Hardcore Ironman hiscores only counted players who are still alive?”
The official hiscores preserve fallen Hardcore accounts and their achievements, but this makes it difficult to see your real position among the Hardcores who are still standing.
That question became the idea behind TrueHCIM—and here we are.
A community tool.
A hobby project.
